Fitness is so much more than achieving aesthetic changes. It’s about building strength, resilience and balance to support overall well being. Movement is a powerful form of medicine.

Fact: Women who don’t lift weights can expect to lose at lease 3% of their muscle mass every decade after age 30. Lifting weights is the key to longevity!

I believe women have a unique strength that when unlocked, can propel them to take on any challenge that comes their way! That is why I am so passionate about sharing the amazing benefits of strength training for women through all phases of life.

As a Menopause Informed Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach my dedication is rooted in ongoing education, curiosity, and empathy. Menopause brings about a multitude of changes, both physiological and emotional, and navigating this transition requires a nuanced approach that goes beyond the one-size-fits-all mentality.

I provide tools to help clients thrive and understand how to adapt their fitness and nutrition routines to support their goals.

Empowerment goes beyond what we do in the gym - it’s about maximizing quality of life. This means making sure they feel heard and are equipped with knowledge to help them thrive.

I seek to create a supportive and uplifting environment that boosts self assurance and confidence!

My Fitness Journey

I don't come from an athletic or sports background. My love of movement began at an early age through dance such as ballet and flamenco. As a teen and into early adulthood I struggled with body image and depression.
Fitness for a very long time was centered around weight loss. I've fallen for so many diet fads, gimmicks, quick fixes, endless cardio routines and myths that lifting heavy would make me bulky.
Everything changed in my mid 30's when I stopped focusing on getting smaller and started prioritizing getting stronger. Now I truly believe that lifting weights is a celebration of what my body can do and I feel stronger, more athletic, and joyful at 40 than I've ever felt before.
Fitness is a lifelong journey and that is so much to learn and discover about yourself in the process.
In addition to lifting weights, I practice yoga and teach yoga/movement classes, pilates, meditation and breath-work all of which help keep me grounded and directly influence who I am as a coach.
